Life Changing Ministries is a Bible-based, apostolic, and prophetic church founded in 2000 by Bishop Damian and Pastor Cheryl Hinton. Today we meet as one church in three locations and two states.

We’re about people because God is all about people. One of the ways we express our love for Him is through our love for people, and we do that by helping each person who comes to Life Changing Ministries grow in their relationship with the Lord.

At Life Changing Ministries, our vision is to establish the kingdom of God, His righteous rule, authority, and dominion in the earth. We are committed to being a light in the darkness and sharing the love of Jesus to every person we meet. Our goal is to see lives transformed, families strengthened, and communities impacted by the power of God.

OUR PURPOSE

We as a ministry realize that people come from different places, denominations, and experiences and our desire is to experience the power and the glory of the Father. So to help maintain our unity, tone, and trajectory, we developed 5 core values as a church that make us unique and authentic.

Our Story

Our journey began in 1994 when the Lord spoke to Dr. Damian Hinton, about starting a ministry to bring the gospel to the Baltimore Metropolitan community. However, it wasn't until the year 2000, with the support of his wife, Pastor Cheryl, and three other families, that they launched Life Changing Ministries. Our goal has always been to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ and partner with the Lord to see lives transformed. Today, we are humbled to say that we have grown into a thriving church that provides hope and guidance to all who seek it.
